The 2024 Democratic National Convention is a presidential nominating convention in which delegates of the United States Democratic Party will select the party’s nominees for president and vice president in the 2024 United States presidential election. It is scheduled to be held August 19 to 22, 2024, at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. 

Delegates are elected by the constituents of each congressional district and the number of delegates from each district is proportional to number of registered Democrats in that district.  Once at the convention, delegates cast their vote for a particular candidate based on the preferences of the voters in the districts they represent.  We are delighted that our community will be represented by IADC members elected as DNC delegates.
