On March 3rd, IADC led an email campaign to state and national level lawmakers from California to bring their attention to the recent Congressional Research Service (CRS) report (R48433) on the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK) organization, made public on February 25 , 2025, which raises several critical concerns about the group’s past activities and current conduct. The following is the text of the letter that was sent to offices of assemblymembers, state senators, US Representative and US senators.

 

We urge all members of the Iranian American community to contact their representatives, regardless of their political affiliation, and let them know whether Maryam Rajavi and MEK represent you and your views.  If not, encourage them not to support (or rescind their support) for H.Res. 166.
